The file receive action allows chat bot to receive files from visitor. Sometimes for ecommerce, travel, health chatbots, it is necessary to receive files ( passport, medical tests, past invoices etc.). With this action users can easily do that. To use this action, select this from the "Actions" list on the right side, to be added in the desired node. In this action users have to-
Add a message to communicate which document the visitor/ customer must upload
The user has to select or create an attribute to either save it as a URL or BASE64.
At last the user has to select a node to continue the bot journey to a different node.
By clicking the "File Settings" user can -
Select a file type from image, video or document. User can select all three data type to receive any kind of document.
User can limit the file size but maximum size will be 10 MB
Depending on the file type, there will be a validation. So, if the visitor uploads anything other then the accepted file type, an error message will be shown and the visitor will be asked to upload again.
