What is break management

It is a feature that allows admins to create and manage predefined break types for support agents (like lunch, tea, or short breaks). Agents can select these break types when they step away from active duty.

  • Tracking when and why agents are unavailable

  • Ensuring better shift and workload planning

  • Maintaining accurate availability and performance reports

How to create a break in REVE Chat

To access the role management, click Settings ( from left nav bar)>> Agent Management >> Break Management .

Provide a break title like "Lunch", add a duration in minutes like "30 Minutes" and click add. A custom break will be created for your agents to select.
