REVE chatbot has the ability to understand open-ended queries but important info like visitor name, email, phone etc. requires the question action to save the values while creating a new contact. You can recall these info using the attribute system in REVE chat.
In the "write your question here" box you need to add the question you want to ask your visitor.
In "save answer to attribute" you need to either select or create an attribute to save the reply from your visitors.
"Number of repeat" is the amount of tries a visitor may take to provide an relevant answer. If the visitor fails to provide an accurate answer, which node do you want to trigger(e.g. Fallback node).
You can change the failure message your visitor will receive if he fails to provide an accurate answer.
You need to add your question and select an attribute to resolve the error sign of the action.
You can change question type according to your requirements using the drop- down menu. Depending on the question type the validity of the visitor's input will be checked. For example- if you select the email question type, visitor nneds to provide am accurate answer. If you select "Any" type, chatbot will save any type of answer to the attribute.
If you select the question type "Date", a new input field will appear where a format needs to be selected. Bot will only understand the date input according to the format selected.
Same is for "Time" question type where the user needs to select the format beforehand.
