Floating messages management
With the release of REVE chat V4.0, we have introduced floating messages. This feature allows businesses messages to show to visitors even when they minimise the chat widget. Now with this short release, we are bringing more control to the businesses. Now customers can enable or disable the floating messages as they wish.
To disable the floating message, users have to navigate to customization> appearance> widget position & visibility.
Chat closing option for visitors
Visitors often close chats prematurely, especially if they don't receive an immediate response. In REVE chat V4.0, by preventing visitors from closing the chat, it ensures that they remain engaged throughout the conversation. But with the release of V4.0.1, now users can enable or disable this feature.
To enable this feature, users have to navigate to customization> widget features> key features.
Managing customer data more effectively
Previously if a user had any custom questions in the pre-chat form or post-chat form, other than name, phone, email, the visitor’s answers would not be saved anywhere. But with the new release, any custom question’s answer would be preserved and available in visitor contacts under custom attribute or when the chat history is exported.
Use/ set some custom question in either pre-chat form or post chat form > Initiate a chat > Close the chat > Export chat history. There will be a field in the excel for custom attributes or view in the contacts module.
Improved social media page identification
